Avery: Fatso forgot to shake my hand
Classic Sean Avery folks. Love him or hate him the man is an effective player. He may not be the most skilled player on the ice but without a doubt he was the most important player in the first round. He was in Brodeur's head all series. What fatboy did sorry excuse me Martin Brodeur did at the end was a classless act. Now some might disagree but for all of us athletes that have gone through this in any sport know that there have been plenty of guys hands you don't want to shake but you do anyway. Lets face it win or lose you suck it up and shake the hand. It's not like they both were trying to ignore each other. Avery said it best in the video. That is why he is GOD to the New York fans. That is why the Rangers are moving on and the classless Brodeur will be home watching the Rangers move on while he is home eating twinkies.

Avery is THE MAN. Not only is he a rugged tough guy who will drop the gloves with you, but the man has actual talent. He can skate, he can pass, he can score and he'll take you off of your game all in one shift. He's more than just your average agitator. He's innovative, see that screening/faceguarding of Brodeur, and he's a Super Pest. A must have for every successful team. The Rangers better show him the money on July 1 and he will be sorely missed. Look at the teams' record with him in and out of the lineup since he arrived from L.A. in Feb. '07. They need to pay the man.
Makes me glad I didn't have to work the Arena that game.
