The New York rangers are in the playoffs yet again. They locked up a spot last night by beating the heated rivals the New York Islanders 3-0. The King registered his league leading 10th shout out of the season. The 17th of his young carrer. The capt. Jaromir Jagr had a pair of power play goals and got the third from Martin Straka. My take of the playoff run. I have high expectations. I think with their defensive system they play they should be able to limit the scoring chances of any team they play. The only problem I see is lack of scoring. Now I don't expect them to score 5 goals a game but I do expect 2 to 3 goals a game. They play to passive for the players they have. I believe that if Jagr, Gomez and Shanahan play hard they will go far. I believe in the clutchness of capt. clutch Chris Drury. That man for some reason is always in the right places at the right time in the playoffs. So My hopes are extremely high and I would like to see the Rangers win the cup and become the second New York team this year to win a championship and restore the winning ways back to this city.
