The New york Rangers played last night's game with a sense of urgency and passion. Following the amazing play and leadership of Captain Jaromir Jagr and the King Henrik Lundqvist were able to finally beat the Penguins 3-0. What a great feeling to finally make a mark in the series. I guess being a the verge of elimination has finally woke the boys up. Jagr has been playing like a man possessed since the end of game 2 and now has taken the series by storm. I know being down 3 games to 1 is a bit overwhelming but maybe just maybe this time around the Rangers might complete the unthinkable. I'm starting to believe. I think that the Pens got a kick to the ass yesterday that they didn't expect. They now know that if they want to win the series then they literally have to take it. That may have been the case in the first three games but last night a beat up team took the fight to the mighty Pens.
Without Sean Avery(lacerated spleen) and Blair Betts(fractured cheekbone) the Rangers must now put all their hopes on Jagr, Straka, and Gomez. Normally I would put capt. clutch Chris Drury in that statement but he is banged up with what they are calling a torso injury. I still think he will step up. The key to winning this series is going to be Jagr. The rest of the team has to follow him.
