Beloved List- Joe Torre

Joe Torre. A rock for the team to look upon when things were good and when things were bad. Always took the bullet for his players when the boss was looking to blast a player. He led the team to 4 world championships. He is the most beloved manager New York has ever known. A player's manager the man knows how to get the best out of them. Players want to play hard for him because they couldn't stand to let him down. His departure could of been handled better but he has moved on to a new challenge and I wish him all the best. I was at his last game when Cleveland eliminated the Yanks. It was like a funeral. The crowd sensing that it was his last game chanting his name in appreciation. After the game was over I never heard 56,000 plus so quiet. That is how much the man is loved. Number 6. Joe Torre
