Rumors have it that the Mets are interested in throwaway relief pitcher Derrick Turnbow. If anyone was to sign him the Brewers would have to eat part of his 3.2 million dollar deal. No one want to pay that full contract for a middle relief pitcher who sucks ass. Then again with the bullpen problems the Mets have maybe they would.
Turnbow's number this season are 12 hits, 13 walks and 11 earned runs in 6 1/3 innings (15.63 ERA). That is piss poor. I'm sure genius pitching coach Rick Peterson can fix him. He can fix anyone.
