Enough is enough!!!

The time has come for the Yankees to make some decisions. Hughes and Kennedy have been less than stellar. Hughes is hurt and now the report is he'll possibly be out until mid July. Rasner will have his shot to hold the fort until then. He may possibly steal Hughes' spot in the rotation permanently. As for Mr. Kennedy. Kennedy has no injuries to blame. His failure comes from the fact that he has no confidence in his stuff. He tries to paint the corners and as a rookie pitcher you are not going to get those calls.

"WE don't even need a fifth starter for most of may with days off and they need to figure out what is best for Ian" Girardi said.

Sounds like he'll be on the Scranton shuttle. I think a stint in the minors will do Mr. Kennedy some good. Give him the confidence he needs to come back and help the team in the way we all believe he can. Hughes when healthy might need the same thing. He'll most likely have a few rehab starts through the minor league classes. I believe he should throw no less than 3 triple A games just to be sure. That is just my opinion. Time will tell.

I wonder now if Brian Cashman will try to go out and get a starting pitcher to help balance the rotation. Maybe he will go out and get a stud reliever so then they can finally move Joba into the rotation where he will benefit the team the most. Don't get me wrong I love Joba in the 8Th so until someone steps up or a trade is made to bring in a stud reliever. That maybe the plan. Wang, Pettitte and Moose will really need to be almost perfect to keep the team in the mix of things until something good happens. One more thing. THE TEAM NEEDS TO STAY HEALTHY.
